Mini Maker Spotlight Submission

The miniature world is filled with talented makers, designers, collectors, and craftspeople whose work deserves to be seen and celebrated.

The Mini Maker Spotlight Feature introduces our readers to the people behind the tiny details—their creative journeys, favorite techniques, sources of inspiration, and the miniature work they are most proud of.

Artists may submit their own work or nominate another miniature maker for consideration. We welcome traditional dollhouse miniatures, room boxes, furniture, accessories, food, dolls, needlework, paper crafts, fantasy scenes, modern miniatures, and other forms of small-scale art.

Selected artists may be featured on the Let’s Make It Mini website, in the monthly Let's Talk Blog and Small Talk Newsletter, and on our social media channels.

You do not need a large following or a professional studio to be considered. We are looking for interesting work, personal stories, and makers who help show just how creative and varied the miniature world can be.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome submissions from:

  • Miniature artists and artisans
  • Dollhouse builders and restorers
  • Furniture and accessory makers
  • Room-box and diorama creators
  • Printable and paper miniature designers
  • Miniature food, doll, textile, and needlework artists
  • Shops, clubs, teachers, and creative community members

Beginners and experienced makers are equally welcome.

What to Include

Please be prepared to share:

  • The artist’s name or maker name
  • Contact email
  • Website, shop, or social links
  • A short biography
  • The type of miniature work created
  • A few details about the artist’s process and inspiration
  • Three to six clear project images
  • Permission for Let’s Make It Mini to use the submitted material if selected

Selection and Permissions

Submitting an artist does not guarantee publication. All submissions will be reviewed for fit, image quality, available space, and relevance to the Let’s Make It Mini community.

By submitting materials, you confirm that you have permission to share the information and images provided. If selected, you grant Let’s Make It Mini permission to edit the submitted text for clarity and length and to feature the artist’s name, story, images, and links on the website, in the Small Talk newsletter, and across Let’s Make It Mini social media.

Artists retain ownership of their work and images. Credit will be given whenever the feature is published.
